Named five times as one of Milwaukee Magazine’s “Top Docs” and every year since 1996 named in Who’s Who in American Medicine, Dr. Stokes is recognized as one of southeast Wisconsin’s leading dermatologists. She has practiced with Affiliated Dermatologists, S.C. since 1991. Dr. Stokes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Stokes’ professional interests include diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and skin cancer, and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys treatment of teens and young adults.

A native of New England, Dr. Stokes received her undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Utah. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and completed her dermatology residency at the MCW where she served as Chief Resident.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Stokes is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has been an invited speaker in the US and China, lecturing on Skin Cancer, Cutaneous Manifestations of Systemic Disease, and Cosmetic Dermatology.

Dr. Stokes is affiliated with Froedert Hospital, Elmbrook Hospital, the VA Hospital, and St. Luke’s Medical Center. She has served in leadership roles with the Dermatology Foundation, Wisconsin Dermatological Society, and the Medical College of Wisconsin Alumni Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine, TEMPO, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in Medicine.

Outside of Dermatology, Dr. Stokes enjoys dance, travel and skiing.
